How can I find a london friend? I'm an italian girl and I'd like to improve my english.

04/11/2008 : In internet there are so many sites about friends, it's true, but I consider them not so helpul for my needs: chat is quite stupid, becasuse there are many people that used it only to pass their time to fun; instead I'd like know a real friend, to improve my english but also to discover an other culture, an other way of life. And why not, to meet eachother...I'd like to come to London next spring so it'd be fun!
I need female company for friendship. Should be mature and sociable.

24/11/2008 : I stay at a flat on my own. I am cut off from friends and relatives by sheer force of distance and geography. I am a non drinker and non smoker. I am also aged 53 and male.I need female friend of Caucasian race.
