01/07/2011 : What do you do when you have an online business helping people start up online. And, two very spiteful girls, (I say girls because they acting like schoolgirls in a playground and have never grown out of this phase in their lives). These two aforementioned individuals copy everything my close friend does, is it because they cannot think of anything themselves. I would dearly like to know if anyone else has this sort of problem, and how does one deal with it!.
What do I do? I have to support a ten year old and pay rent etc!!

23/02/2011 : I have been sworn at frequently. Embarrassed in front of clients. I have had articles thrown at me. My wrists held in restraint to stop me from walking. My son who used to go to work with me in holidays will no longer come with me because my boss humiliated and swore at him. now my son will no longer come to work with me I have to leave him at home alone all day. My appearance is constantly spoken about and the fact that he would never have employed me if he knew i was going to put on so much weight.
That i have put on 4 F******* dress sizes and no longer wear short skirts etc. Then my boss instigated an out of hours call service for which he then made my company mobile the number of contact. So I have to be available 24/7 night, day, all the time. I am on holiday at present and have left the mobile with a newly appointed collegue, who taken on to cover me for holidays and sickness. Yet at 10.45 pm Saturday my boss rang around for my telephone number and sent a text message to the mobile stating if I was up and not f****** P*ss*d to get in touch with him.
I was appointed a position as a receptionist and packer. I am not a P.A. I was promised las year a pay rise and to be trained up as manager yet a mistake in accounts meant that I got a bonus the first year and this year last years error became a pay rise therefore making his verbal promise rubbish because although my work load as increased immensley and extra duties added as well I am a year behind in pay. My concern is that I cannot sleep any more I get up constantly through out the night. When I do sleep my son wakes me because I am screaming and crying out in my sleep.
There as been so many incidents directed at myself from my boss, inuendo, embarrassing comments and even him biting my finger. I cannot cope any longer. I have emails that he as sent staing that I am the office bull dog,a bitch etc etc. If I walk away will I be entitled to any benefits whilst I find another job? is it illegal for me to leave my ten year old son home alone?
Workplace bullying or not?

01/09/2010 : The culture and boss at my work are extremely, extremely difficult to suss out, so I'm not sure if I am bullied — but I know I am very depressed when I am there! Does any of the following mean I am bullied at work? 1) Better work given to other team members, while I'm given mindless busy work. When I brought this up on a one-on-one meeting, I was told it was because I am relatively new (I was already working in the company for about 3 months) 2) Information are given to me on a 'need to know' basis and/or unclear.
I feel like I was being made to feel like a moron for asking questions, or taking a while to complete the tasks. 3) Stand-offish and aloof demeanour from colleagues. When I raised this with my boss, I was told that it's all in my head. It's made me feel as though my input/opinions do not matter. 4) Sarcastic comments from the boss which are really hard to address in a professional manner. Mainly because it's the boss and everyone are too afraid to rock the boat. If there are basis here on bullying, any advice on how to handle it?

13/03/2010 : I work away from home quite a lot. My wife and I have a ten year old daughter. When I have been coming home recently my daughter has seemed quite and withdrawn. I took her swimming the other day and she finally told me what was wrong. She told me that her Mum bullies her. She actuallyt used that word. She would not be specific and clammed up straight after she had told me. I cannot get her to tell me anymore What should I do? My daughter does not want me to go away from work anymore.

18/12/2009 : My daughter is 11. She used to love school and talk to me about it all the time. Over this term she has become more and more withdrawn and does not talk to me about it any more. The other day when I asked her what was wrong she just looked like she was about to start crying and said everything was ok. How can I get her to open up to me?
