18/01/2010 : I live alone and have doen for the last 2 years since my husband died. O live in a flat in a council block and there is a lot of criminal activity around. The other day I really though that I was starting to get over the death of my husband when there was a knock on the door. I opened it more confidently than I have for a long time and this man of about 29 was standing there. Before he could speak he was tasered by some policmen who were arresting him, it was very violent. Now I am afriad to open my door, I do not know what will happen next.
What should I do?

02/01/2010 : I am 50 and was made redundant just before Xmas. I don't really have any friends they all have famliies where I do not. I spent the whole of Xmas alone. I wen to a pub on New Years Eve but everyone was really drunk and it wa frightening. Now I don't know what I am going to do in the new year as I have absolutely nothing to do and no-onw to meeet up with. Can anyone point me in the direction of a website for people in my position?

30/12/2009 : I have just had the most miserable Xmas possible. I have not seen anyone since I left work at lunchtime on Xmas eve. The phone has not even rung. How can I make sure this does not happen again next year?. I did not think about it iuntil too late this year. Who can I contact so that I am not in then same state next year?

09/12/2009 : My girl left me and went home to live in Eseex with her parents. We moved to London together 4 years ago and my family did not like her so I lost touch with them. Now I have no-one. What can I do?
