Boyfriend dumped me

My boyfriend went to University this year and now he has dumped me. Before he went he gave me a ring and said we would be together forever but now he says he needs time and space. I knew this would happen and my heart is broken. I do not know what to do he was the only one for me.

Anonymous replies: You are obviously very young, you will get over it. I remember when I was your age and getting dumped seemed like the end of the world. Why does everybody think that being with someone else is the way to be happy anyway. In the words of Morrissey, 'the wedding photo on the TV is all a bit embarrasing really'
