Child Benefit

My partner and I have just had a baby and have started getting child benefit. Will it stop if anyone finds out I do not spend it all on our baby?

Anonymous replies: Hi. It does not work like JSA, you are entitled to child benefit just for having the child. It should be spent on the child though!
