Depression pills

I am 38. I lost my job and almost my family and house recently. I went to the doctor and he put me on pills, they really helped. Now the worst of the crisis is over, we moved but I have not found a job yet. Should I come off the pills? I am scared that I might get depressed again. I could not do anything before I felt so bad the pills were a godsend.

Anonymous replies: You do not say what type of pills you are on, maybe they are just for short term use. I would wait until you have got a job and your life has settled down properly before you come off them. The best person to speak to would be your Doctor, he knows your history etc.
