My son wont leave home.

I have a 48 year old son who wont leave home. He came back to stay with us when my hisband became ill which was a big help. But my husband died and he stayed. I did not mind at first but he does not have a job so there is not much chance of him moving out. He seems to have given up. He has even applied for something called a carers allowance from the job centre I thinkthis means that he gets paid for looking after me when I don't need looking after I just wish he would get out and get a life.

Anonymous replies: I had a son who did exactly the same apart from the carers allowance, I have not nheard of that. You have to say to him what you said in your post. Not only does he not have a life but he is stopping you from having one. If you find it hard to say to his face write him a letter and leave it where he will find it. Let me know how it goes.
