29/03/2010 : At my job they have been laying people off over the last year in little bits. Do they have to tell me if they are going to make me redundant? I need to know I cannot stand the waiting and thinling that I may not have a job at the end of every month. Are they obliged to tell me? I am scared to ask as I don't want to upset them and sack me.

25/01/2010 : I just went into work this morning and we were all told that the company had gomne bankrupt and we all had to go home. I am 55 and have worked at this company for 22 years. I do not nthink I will find another job. What should I do?

15/01/2010 : I ahve just found out that the company I work for is going into receivership. I have worked there for 35 years,if I was made redundant they would owe me a lot. If they go bankrupt will I get paid?

30/12/2009 : Just before we broke for Xmas the boss at where I work said there was going to be big changes when we come back in January. I am scared that I will lose my job when I go back. I can't tll my family and we have spent way too much over Xmas even if I had a job to go back to. I feel luke runnung away, what can I do?

15/12/2009 : 25 people were laid off from my work over the last 3 months. We have been told that there will be no more redundancies until the new year. I think I will be one of the ones laid off in thr new year. I cannot enjoy Christmas with this hanging over me. How Can I get them to tell me what they are going to do in the new year?

14/12/2009 : I have been working at my company for 18 years. I have just been told that I will be made redundant at the beginning of next year. They would not tell me how much they were going to pay me. Can anyone tell me how much they are legally bound to give me? What is the calculation?

25/11/2009 : I have worked at my company for 24 years. They are making people redundant all around me who have not been there long bu not me. I think it is because it would cost tehm too much although I am ready to go. How can I make them make me redundant?
