Are there any spiritual people out there able to make a few comments?

08/09/2007 : I believe that we are on Friend as a sort of "training ground", whereby we have to try to reach a high standard of living/acting/thinking to a level similar to that of Jesus/Budha/Mother Theresa, also try to avoid creating bad karma, do good deeds and avoid listening or acting according to the Ego and try to listen to the higher self (within us). It is when we reach this level (and this usually takes many livetimes because the ego isn't easy to overcome/discard!). I believe that formal religions such as the Christian one, have many untruths in it, e.g. reincarnation was written out of the bible because the people writing it felt that if people knew that would live many lives instead of just being given one life to live the standard of Jesus, then they wouldn't try hard enough to better themselves. I also believe that there are many different levels in the spiritual world and the way we conduct ourselves on Earth determines what level we will go into when we die. I understand that at the lower levels are people who don't embrace the higher spiritual values of compassion, forgiveness, love, kindness...etc. and at these levels the spirit feels very uncomfortable whilst at the higher levels there are spirits who embrace the higher spiritual values as well as being able to give unconditional love. These higher levels are what we subconsciously desire to be at, we always feel that there is something missing when we are at the lower or medium levels. I also believe that we do not need to get revenge as "what goes around comes around" and the universal mind makes sure that nobody gets away with anything but this universal justice comes about in an indirect way, hence we are not there or do not realise how somebody will get their punishment. At the same time I believe that we mustn't ourselves desire revenge because we should be able to practise forgiveness to evolve as better spiritual beings and also because we often sin without realizing it. I also believe that there is at least one alternative universe operating at a different vibrational frequency but within the same space, hence we don't see it. Is there anybody out there who thinks anything I have said is true or anyone who cares to comment?
I am attracted to women and not men but I'm a Christian. How can I cope with it?

02/07/2007 : I think love and relationships are central to all our lives and our wellbeing. I have never been attracted to men but to women but as a Christian this is totally frowned on. I don't want to live life alone without someone special but I can't just psyche myself into being attracted to men. I think it's really harsh for straight people to just tell people to give it to God, get over it or just pray about it, especially when these people are happily married
How to identify and recover from abusive churches/Christian experiences

02/07/2007 : I have grown up in a controlling, destructive, emotionally and physically abusive Christian home. As a young person I have really tried to change, make a new start etc. but my attempts at getting into other Christian groups have left me at worst more hurt, more confused, more afraid, more angry and at best feeling patronised and mocked. I think this is because lots of young people want to just think God is good and church is great and it's difficult to hear from people who don't have that experience. How can I heal from my emotional hurt and intellectual doubt and confusion? How can I relate with other Christians so they understand?

08/06/2007 : i have noticed that when I get an erection it is lopsided, is this normal, I have not been with many women and prefer to have sex in the dark, do i need to seek some advice?

06/06/2007 : I am a great believer that our souls are older than we are, i believe that some of us have young souls and some of us have old souls, I myself feel like an old soul, but could it be that the more we experience in life the older and wiser our soul feels?I would be interested to hear what others think about this issue
