Should I stay at a job I hate just because everyone thinks I should?

04/03/2012 : I have been at my job for the last 18 month and am coming to the end of my contract. My work is now telling me that they want me to fill a permanent position (which would be a promotion and more money). Everyone I have spoken to is telling me that I should go for it, and people at work are telling me I'd be stupid not too. I know the current job situation is not a good one, but I have always wanted to go abroad. I don't particularly enjoy my job or get on with the people I work with, but I don't want to let people down or people to be disappointed with me if I don't decide to stay.
I am worried however, if I do leave and go abroad like I want will I ever get a chance like this again - to work for a good organisation with good prospects. If I stayed I could afford a car, to move out maybe even a house in a couple of years. I know it is the right thing to do, but I can't help but just feel that it's really not what I want. I am torn with my decision - please help!

21/07/2011 : i was nominated from my workplace and underwent a training at an oganization to become a master trainer .Now when the time has come come to condcut the training,the organization asked the workplace to appoint a focal person ,the workplace in reply has appointed some one else as the focal person,who is a senior collegue but knows nothing anout what is going to happen.Moreover the workplace has asked the appointed focal person to contact me for the further implementation of the plan.I find this highly annoying and stressfull! is there any way to cope with the situation?

10/09/2010 : hi friends, i intend to master the use of english language very well(both oral and written). However, due to my level of education and environmental upbringing this aspiration seems to be very difficult more especially when it comes verbal communication. please can any one help me with an instruction or BASIC RULES on how to use and where appropriate the terms: has,had,have, will,would etc God bless u as u help!!

27/01/2010 : I am 39 and went for a job interview just before Xmas. I got the job and they said I could start in the New Year.I started 2 weeks ago. The thing is the job I am doing is not the one I applied or was interviewed for. They told me that job did not exist when I sterted. The job I have is well below what I applied for and they are not paying me as much as they said they would. Is there anything Ican do about this?
